Season 2 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 will be released on Wednesday, February 15th at 9AM PST / 12PM EST / 5PM GMT, as confirmed in a recent Call of Duty blog post.
As reported by Twitter user DoesItPlay1 (via MobileSyrup), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will only include about 70MB of data on its physical disc. Considering the game's actual size comes to around 150GB following a massive pre-release update, this means that significantly less than 1% of the actual game is present on the disc.
Downloads are bigger this time around because the overall sizes of Warzone and Modern Warfare are shrinking. Once the dust has settled, Warzone will shrink by 11.8GB and Modern Warfare by around 30GB.
